transformed by pBV-1MTHA vector containing IL-4 cDNA cloned by
NOMA ( Nature, 1986, 319:640 ). Transformants produce mouse IL-4 in
titres 150 hiher than those produced by concanavalin A stimulating2.19
T cells. This IL-4 produced the 3H - thimidine uptake of T cell line, a
mast cell line amd a B leukemia cells, and enhanced the production of
IgG1 by B-cells. Possible spontaneous revertants should be eliminated
by periodic culture of this cell line in the presence of 1mg/mL
