The parental tumor was induced in a Sprague Dawley rat by intraperitoneal
injection of 32P. The cells retain many of the characteristics of the tumor including
responsiveness to parathyroid hormone ( PTH ), cytosol receptors for the bone
resorbing steroid hormone 1,25-OH2D3 and the responsiveness to
prostaglandins. The origin of this cell line should be acknowledged in all relevent
publications. May be distributed to scientific institutions; not to distributed for any
commercial use. | ATCC: | CRL1661 | Biosafety: | 01 |
