Additional Info:	ST/aut cells are infected with a retrovirus originally isolated from primates. This virus will infect in vitro normal human fibroblasts, and induce considerable morphological modifications. Adequate precautions should be taken when manipulating this cell line, since potential pathogenicity of this virus for human was not established.
