Additional Info:	This cell line was isolated from pleural effusion from 69 year female Caucasian. Cells exhibit some features of differentiated mammary epithelium including oestradiol synthesis and formation of domes. Cells may carry B or C type retrovirus and is consiered to represent a category 2 pathogen. Cells express both wildtype and variant oestrogen receptorss as well as progesterone receptors.
