for lymphocytes. Spleen cell cells were fused with NS-1 myeloma cells.
Mac-1 is a mouse macrophage differentiation marker associated with
type-3 complement receptor (CR3). The antigen binding is expressed
in large amounts on thyoglicollate-induced peritoneal exudate
macrophages and in lesser quantities on neutrophilicc granulocytes
and thymus cell. This antibody precipitates two polypeptides of 190.000
and 105.000 daltons. It binds to human monocytes, polymorphonuclear
leucocytes ans small population of lymphocytes. The antibody is
capable of both natural killing and antibody dependent cytotoxicity.
