| Additional Info: | The transplantable murine leukemia L5178 was derived from a thymic
tumor induced in a DBA/2 mouse by methylcolanthrene. The tumor was
adapted in culture in 1958, and established as cell line growing in
suspension, designated L5178y. This cell line can be used for studies
of retinoic-acid-induced-apoptosis. |
