Additional Info: | The line was produced by fusing P3-NS-1/1-Ag4-1 myeloma cells
with spleen cells from Lew/Sn rats imunized with purified BSF-1
emulsified in complete Freund's adjuvant. The 11B11 cell line
secretes a rat monoclonal antibody ( IgG1 ) that reacts with murine
interleukin-4 ( IL-4 ) = B cell stimulatory factor-1 ( BSF-1 ). The antibody
does not cross-react with other lymphokines, and can be used to
purify BSF-1 from complex mixtures. May be distributed to scientific
intitutions, not to be distributed for any commercial use. |
