Additional Info:	This cell line was derived from the CV-1 Simian cells (BCRJ CR013) by transformation with an origin-defective mutant of SV-40 wich codes for wild type T antigen. This line contains a single integrated copy of the complete early region of SV40 DNA, and is a possible host for the propagation of pure populations of recombinant SV40 virus.
