Additional Info:	B13 cell line is dependent upon IL-5. It can be used to quantify the presence of IL-5 in biologiccal fluids. This cell line can spontaneously Loose the dependence upon IL-5, and this should be tested for each batch of cells. The origin of this cell line should be acknowledge in all relevant publications.
