Rio de Janeiro. | Reference: | Immunol. Rev. 47: 63-90, 1979. | Additional Info: | This hybridoma secretes a rat IgG2a antibody reactive with the
lymphocyte differentiation antigen Lyt-1 ( all alleles ). Fluorescent
staining and fluorescent-activated cell sorter analysis show that this
antibody is reactive with all thymocytes ( > 98% ) and with T cells in the
spleen ( 35% ). Less than 1% in bone marrow cells, 63% of peripheral
blood lymphocytes and 89% of lymph node cells were reactive. These
antibodies are citotoxic after conjugation with arsanilic acid and can be
used with a rabbit anti-arsanilic acid antibody for sandwich killing. This
hybridoma was generated by the fusion of the mouse myeloma line
NS-1 with spleen cells of LOU/Ws1/M rats imunized with mouse thymus
or spleen. | ATCC: | TIB 104 | Biosafety: | 01 |
