Additional Info: | This hybridoma secretes a rat anti-mouse IgG2a antibody which is
reactive with the lymphocyte diferentiantion antigen Lyt-2 ( all alleles ).
Fluorescence staining and fluorescence-activated cell sorter analysis
show that this antibody is reactive with 90% of thymocytes and with T
cells in the spleen ( 11% ). Less than 1% of bone marrow cells, 12% of
peripheral blood lymphocytes, and 25% of lymp nodes cells were
reactive. These antibodies are cytotoxic after conjugation with arsanilic
acid and use of rabbit anti-arsanilic acid antibody for sandwich killing.
Spleen cells from LOU/Ws1/M rat imunized with mouse thymus or
spleen were fused with the mouse myeloma line NS-1 to originate this
hybridoma. |
